FRI offers complete research capabilities ranging from design of projects to the tabulation and analysis of results. FRI provides professional market research and analysis services to the agribusiness industry by identifying the product and service needs and wants of production agriculture. The three primary areas of FRI are direct research, market research, and data analysis.

 Direct Surveys

The use of direct surveys is the most common research tool used by FRI. Direct surveys usually in value the mailing and completion of a questionnaire by panel members. FRI also provides other research methods and services for its clients. Including:

Data collection methods to meet your specific needs.
Questionnaires for mail, telephone, or personal interviews.
A custom survey which can be enclosed with regular mailing to FRI panel members or for a sample of respondents, for regional or national coverage.

Market Research

The primary methods for securing the market information is through panels of Midwestern farm families. Panel members are selected to represent a group that is truly representative of all farm families, thus providing a sort of "Gallop Poll" that can speak for the entire farm community in the Midwest. FRI also plans and conducts focus groups tailored to meet particular client needs.

Data Analysis

FRI provides secondary data search and analysis for its clients. Data analysis and summarization can be custom tailored to meet the clients needs.
