Harvest Simulator Model -- The Harvest Simulator model replicates the relationship between three different pieces of equipment at harvest (combine, grain cart, and truck). The Harvest Simulator is designed to demonstrate the logistical dynamics associated with harvesting crops and allows for the user to visualize the complexities associated with optimizing the interaction of equipment during harvest. The simulator could be used to determine optimal equipment needs and could be utilized as a training tool for field operators. Links to economic variables can also be applied to the model, allowing for harvest costs to be calculated.
