GOES Economic Value Report Extended Abstract
This report presents findings from an analytical research project entitled, “An Investigation of the Economic and Social Value of Selected NOAA Data and Products for GOES”.
The report provides information about the quality of the current U.S. crop at harvest as it enters international merchandising channels. Corn quality observed by buyers will be affected by subsequent handling, blending and storage conditions.
