OPERATIONAL ANALYSIS

Giving a Presentation

Profitability improvement, organizational effectiveness, and quality management are three important components of the operational analysis services provided by Centrec. Our effectiveness in these areas is directly tied to our ability to integrate key competitiveness issues with a quick grasp of the internal business processes that create value, cost, or both.

Operational Reviews

If a particular business unit or enterprise is experiencing sub-optimal performance, we can provide a fresh and independent analysis of the unit’s historical and projected performance. Each project is unique but typically includes assessing the current operations, identification and analysis of the driving economic factors, and the development and analysis of future alternatives.

Temporary CFO

For smaller businesses, hiring a full-time Chief Financial Officer does not make economic sense. In these situations, Centrec serves a CFO's role on a part-time basis, assisting with the setup and implementation of record-keeping and accounting systems, financial and managerial reporting system integration, and analysis of financial records to aid in decision making.

Accounting Systems Implementation

The people of Centrec understand accounting. Clients have engaged us to work closely with their operations to design and establish meaningful and fully integrated accounting systems. Farmers and ranchers particularly benefit from customized systems that help articulate profit and cost centers.

Economic Analysis

Economics is woven throughout the background of our consultants. This includes microeconomic drivers of a firm’s performance to macroeconomic impacts of technological or societal trends. We approach our projects with a heightened focus.

Diagnostic Reviews

Designed for smaller organizations, Centrec’s diagnostic review product includes a comprehensive review of the firm’s historical and projected profitability, financial structure, management team responsibilities, information systems, and relative competitive position. Based on this review and an assessment of goals, we can help the owners formulate appropriate strategies for the future.

Litigation Support

Centrec provides a variety of litigation support services and has served in both consultative and expert witness roles in antitrust, bankruptcy, and commercial cases. Analysis and testimony have included business valuation, industry and market analysis, firm-level financial analysis and lost profit determination, and credit delivery practice.
